Artificial Scarring project explores industrail spaces, looking for the sublime within them as many consider that this can only be viewed and documented within a natural landscape. The viewer is invited to consider aesthetic appeal in an environment that many would class as destructive. The ambiguity within the images again invites the viewer to question their preconceptions of beauty. It is not until the journey through the publication is explored that the full allure of the industrial landscape of a quarry is revealed.
